Jeff Bridges performs in Missoula

MISSOULA -

Actor and musician Jeff Bridges stopped by Missoula's Wilma Theater this evening to show his support for Governor Steve Bullock.

Bridges, who has owned property in Montana for more than 20 years, is a vocal proponent of Governor Bullock. Bridges rocked the Wilma with his own personal brand of bluesy, folksy country music to a full house at the Wilma.

Before starting the concert, Bridges reminisced about his history under the big sky.

"Man, I'm so connected with this place, you know? God, I met my sweetheart, as the governor was saying, who's out here in the audience tonight. We met at Chico, you know, some forty years ago, been married now for 38 years, I'm such a lucky guy,” said Bridges.

Governor Bullock isn't the first Montana politician to have a concert performed in support of his campaign. Pearl Jam took to the stage for Senator Jon Tester's bid for re-election in 2012.
