Obituary: Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Williams

Posted: Updated:

Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Williams Lowe was called home to Jesus on November 24, 2015.  She was 66 years old when her eight year battle with cancer came to an end.  Beth was born in Lake Charles, LA and grew up in California, with her parents Leroy and Clara Williams and her nine siblings.  She graduated from Camarillo High School in 1967.  Two years later, she married James Lowe.  During their marriage, they had four children.

Beth was a loving, courageous, and selfless woman.  She worked many years as a CNA to provide comfort, care and dignity for those nearing the end of their lives.  She loved singing old church hymns, Golden Oldies and reading the Scriptures.  Her family and friends knew her as an amazing cook, an even better baker, a seamstress, Girl Scout Leader, and VBS teacher. Best of all, she was known for her compassionate, listening ear followed by supportive advice.  She will be remembered fondly for both her perfect cup of coffee and Montana Monster Cookies.

Strength of character and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ saw her through life’s daily struggles and her greatest battle as a Pink Warrior.  She was, indeed, a righteous daughter of God!  She is survived by her children, JaLaine (Monte) Lowe-Whitmer, Janine (Mitchell) Francis, Deborah (Michael) Sebena, David (Kathleen) Lowe, and Truman Whitmer.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Her loss is felt deeply by all that were honored to call her Mom, Grandma, sister and friend.  She was preceded in death by many loved ones and looked forward to their Heavenly reunion.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 5th at The Bucking Horse Pavilion in Churchill, MT from 12:00 - 4:00 P.M.  Friends and family, bring your cowboy boots, singing voices, memories to share, and a heart ready to honor the life of this loving woman.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.  www.dokkennelson.com
