Esther R. Lambrecht, 87, of Bozeman passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Highgate Senior Living with her family by her side.

Born Esther Robertus on May 30, 1928 in Laurel, Montana, she was one of nine children to Henry and Mary (Grasmick) Robertus.  She grew up with her siblings on the family farm in Laurel.  She recalled thinning, hoeing, and harvesting sugar beets, as well as milking cows as a child.  She graduated from Laurel High School.  In 1952, she married Clement Lambrecht and they had four children, Roselyn, Joseph, Patrick, and Ellen.

Clem and Esther lived many places due to his work with Goodyear Tire, including Chicago, IL, Colorado Springs, CO, Fargo, ND, South Bend, IN, North Platte, NE, Detroit, MI, Billings, MT, and finally, Bozeman.  She worked at the Billings Credit Bureau, and at the MSU Bookstore, but most of her working years were spent with Clem as the owners of Lambrecht Tire Co. on Main Street in Bozeman.

Survivors include her husband, Clem; children, Roselyn Anderson, Joseph Lambrecht, Patrick (Diana) Lambrecht, and Ellen (Jim) Robinson; grandchildren, Andrea (Brian) McCollum, Aaron Lambrecht, Tony Lambrecht, Catie Robinson, Will Anderson, Justin Lambrecht, Kristen Lambrecht, and Jordon (Jake) Guckert; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lila Gordon; and brother, Raymond Robertus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Emme, Amelia, John, Henry Jr., Aley, and Albert.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held in Laurel at a later date.

The family would like to thank Highgate Senior Living for the loving care from the nurses, aides, and Esther’s friends there, as well as Hospice of Bozeman Deaconess, especially Charla, for the care until the time of Esther’s passing.

Mom, what a great mom you were.  We know your struggles and pains are gone now.  You were a strong and determined lady.  Love, Your Kids.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.  www.dokkennelson.com
