Born in Myer, IL on June 21, 1935, James “Jim” Roderick Ferguson was the third of four children born to Chester and Sylva Ferguson.  When Jim was still a small child, the family moved to Kahoka, MO, where they lived for many years.  Jim attended a small country school prior to attending and graduating from Wyaconda Senior High School.
