Ola K. Herman Ola K. Herman

Ola K. Herman, 94, of Bozeman, Montana, passed away at Spring Creek Inn on Sunday, July 5, 2015.  She is formerly of Lock Haven and Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania.

Ola was born in Nelson, Nebraska, the daughter of Albert and Dollie Stowers Kling, on March 1, 1921.

Mrs. Herman was a 1938 graduate of the Old Mill Hall High School in Pennsylvania.  She married Jack Scott Gilbody on September 15, 1940.  He died in August of 1950, and she married Ernest F. Herman in 1953.  Mr. Herman died in 1996.

She was employed at Shaffer, Candar and Hopkins Hardware in 1950 until they closed in 1960.  She was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels and Secretary to Lock Haven Senior Center in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.  She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, John A. Gilbody of Kokomo, IN and James H. Gilbody of Bozeman, MT; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ola was preceded in death by her two brothers, Oliver and Wilford Kling.

No services will be held at this time.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
