Lutz Fire shows more growth

The Lutz Fire that's burning 20 miles west of Philipsburg has now burned over 700 acres, according to fire officials.
The lightning-sparked blaze has been burning near Skalkaho Pass since early August and continues to burn in mixed conifer and lodgepole pine.

Five new fires burning in Yellowstone National Park

Five new small fires were discovered in Yellowstone National Park on Thursday. The Heart Lake Fire was discovered Thursday morning. Four other fires were reported late Thursday afternoon. All five were caused by lightning are are burning in the backcountry.

The Saddle Complex Fire has burned more than 9,000 acres in Montana, and is currently the largest fire in the state.

Governor being briefed on West Riverside fire

Fire activity increases at Bull Fire

Wildfires grow in Condon/Swan Lake area
