Yellowstone National Park says a 22 year old Taiwanese woman died Tuesday night after slipping under the water in the Firehole River near Old Faithful.

Park officials say a visitor saw the woman on the bottom of the river in about 10 ft of water and dove in, bringing her to the surface.  She was under water for about five minutes.  The visitor started CPR, assisted by a doctor and two nurses in the area.

The woman was taken by air ambulance to the Eastern Idaho Medical Center where she died from her injuries.
