Morning Meteorologist Adam Bell with your Morning Updated forecast for Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Welcome back to winter! Happy Wednesday, and as you wake up, don't forget to look out the window and see the beautiful winter scene this morning. Most of our viewing area has seen a couple of inches in the valleys, with several more up in the mountains. Roads are slick this morning as well, so allow for a few extra minutes on your trip into work.

The good news is that this afternoon, as temperatures warm up, we should see those snow covered roads become wet later this morning into the afternoon. As we clear out tonight and temperatures drop, expect icy conditions to re-develop for your Thursday morning commute.

Drier weather will move in tomorrow and Friday with a warm up back into the low to mid 40's, however it will be short lived as another pacific system rolls in for the weekend. The latest data this morning suggests another bout of accumulating snow is possible, more details will become available as we get closer to the weekend.

In the wake of the cooler/snowy weekend, temperatures warm back up above the seasonal level (possibly low to mid 50's) with just partly cloudy skies.
