UPDATE: Three taken to hospital after crash at Bozeman intersection

UPDATE: Three people were taken to the hospital this afternoon after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Gooch Hill Road and Blackwood Road.

One vehicle was heading south on Gooch Hill Road and another was heading east on Blackwood Road when they collided, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

Four people were involved in the crash with three of those transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was backed up in all directions for about ½ hour. As of 1 p.m., officials were just starting to let traffic through the area.

We will bring you more information on this crash when we receive it.


Law enforcement and emergency responders are at the scene of a crash at the intersection of Gooch Hill Road and Blackwood Road in Bozeman.

Two cars are in the ditch in the northeast corner of the intersection. One person is on stretcher now after being extricated. Emergency personnel are tending to another victim who is still in one of the vehicles.

Rae Sourdough and Bozeman fire departments, Montana Highway Patrol, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and two AMR ambulances are on scene.
