The Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce and Pine Cove Consulting held their first Emerging Technologies Symposium today.
The event was held to put spotlight on Bozeman to show that we are a viable technological community and to allow members of the community to experience and learn more about technology.
"Our goal was to have a conference this symposium that really introduced our members in the Bozeman community to all the new types of technology," said Abby Turner from the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce. "We find that people shy away from technology, even if they're in the industry so we wanted to show them that you can learn about the new technology but also get some experience and better your business with newer technologies."
Most vendors at the event were from Bozeman but national sponsors were present as well. Vendors spoke about their companies' new technologies and what they're offering.
MSU students were invited to further their technological knowledge as well.
The event lasted all day and costed $55 for chamber members, $110 for non-chamber members, and $15 for MSU students.
