BOZEMAN - A new restaurant is opening in downtown Bozeman.
Taco Del Sol is a Montana chain of restaurants. The new location, on South Tracy Avenue at the former site of Ro Sham Bo, is locally owned. It's the 11th location in Montana.
Owners Marley McKenna and her husband, Matthew Schmidt, put together their talents for their new business. Marley is a former Taco Del Sol employee and Matthew is an architect. They've spent the last few months designing and renovating the space.
A Bozeman native, McKenna says they're looking forward to bringing the Baja-style restaurant to town.
"We feature local art and we try to do good music. Our employees are really a part of how this environment feels and the food is simple and real and good," McKenna said. "Bozeman has a ton of food, but a lot of the food is upscale. And you can come in here and get out of here for under $5, which is a big difference. With a college town, that's big."
Taco Del Sol opens in Bozeman on Monday, March 18.
