Search continues for missing Western Montana man

MISSOULA- There's still no sign of a man who hasn't been heard from since leaving a Frenchtown bar last week.

Josh Carter, 27, was last seen on Friday, Sept. 7, when he walked out of the Frenchtown Club bar, got in to his truck and drove away.

Missoula County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Jason Johnson says detectives have been driving the back roads between Frenchtown and Arlee looking for clues or any sign of Carter or his truck.

Josh's mother says that it's not like her son to just take off without telling anyone, and the family isn't aware of any issues of depression or thoughts of suicide, according to a news release.

Josh is 5'11" tall, weighs about 225 pounds, and has short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a yellow and black "CAT" ball cap. He was driving a yellow 1974 Ford flatbed pickup with Montana license plate 4-34237A.

Anyone with information about Josh is asked to call Missoula authorities at (406) 258.3452.
