Bozeman police and Bozeman schools kicked off the new school year with the introduction of a new D.A.R.E officer.
Abram Antonucci is now part of Bozeman's D.A.R.E program which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
The D.A.R.E program teaches kids about how to resist drugs, alcohol and tobacco. It also teaches them how to make good decisions and how to say "no."
"It's a chance for police to be in partnership with the school district and to teach kids that law enforcement isn't scary," said Antonucci. "We're approachable and we're there to help if they have problems. They can come to us."
Bozeman police and school officials give a big thanks to "INK Outside The Box" for their donation of a new look for their D.A.R.E truck.
