Tanner Roderick, the former All State Quarterback of the State Champion Bozeman Hawks is content to play wide receiver and catch passes from MSU All American, DeNarius McGhee until McGhee graduates. Roderick, in an exclusive MTN interview on Monday night said that the reason he decided to attend Montana State instead of Montana after transferring from the University of Nevada, is because it would give him a chance to play in front of the friends and family who cheered him on during his High School playing days.
Roderick, who has three years of eligibility left, plans to actively compete for the quarterback job after McGhee graduates following next season.
