Public input wanted at meeting tonight concerning changes to Jackrabbit Lane

The Montana Department of Transportation is looking for input from the public on the reconstruction and expansion of Jackrabbit Lane.

The MDT along with engineering consultant Robert Peccia and Associates is conducting an informational meeting to discuss the reconstruction of approximately 3.8 miles of Jackrabbit Lane and Highway 191 beginning just south of Four Corners and extending north beyond Hulbert Road, south of Belgrade.

The Department of Transportation has been working on redesigning the reconstruction plan to try to avoid raising a median among other things after the public expressed some concerns.

The expansion and reconstruction should start in the spring.

The open house will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation at 7 p.m. at Zoot Enterprises, Inc.

All are welcome to attend.
