MISSOULA - Authorities have released the name of the man who was killed in a Sunday morning crash on the Reserve Street bridge in Missoula.
Corwin D. Cornelius, 34, of Ronan died in the three-vehicle wreck, Missoula County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jason Johnson said.
Missoula police are still looking into what caused the wreck that tied up traffic for several hours, although initial reports indicate that slick road conditions may have contributed to the crash.
The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, when Cornelius was heading northbound when his vehicle crossed into the southbound lanes and then collided with two other vehicles.
The two other driver involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident stopped traffic in the southbound lanes for quite some time, and one northbound lane was also closed for a large part of the afternoon.
MPD is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call (406) 552.6300.
