KALISPELL - A Marion man remains in intensive care in a Seattle hospital after being shot twice by his neighbor. It all started over a property dispute.
According to Flathead County Undersheriff Dave Lieb, Paul West was arrested and taken to the Flathead County Jail after shooting Jason Guyman in the upper body and the stomach.
Lieb says the shooting happened after West confronted a man on horseback heading to Guyman's property, "He continued riding down the road. Paul West jumped in his pickup and followed him down the road and according to witness statements actually bumping into the horse one time with his pickup. When they arrived at Mr. Guyman's driveway, Guyman came out of his house with a shotgun."
The incident remains under investigation. Paul West was involved in a shooting earlier this year and faces charges for both.
