Former MSU Star Fletcher Turning Heads at Patriots Camp

Through 6 days of training camp, former Montana State defensive end Dane Fletcher is reportedly turning some heads for the New England Patriots in Foxboro.

At Patriots camp, the media always keeping a watchful eye, and one writer has something to say about the MSU Alum.

Erik Scalavino of Patriots Football Weekly held a question and answer session Tuesday for the "Official Newspaper of the New England Patriots" and when asked who the best positive surprise is in camp thus far, Scalavino responds:

"I like what I've see from rookie Dane Fletcher, the converted Inside linebacker from Montana State. He's made some plays and shown good athleticism. I'll go with Fletcher as my surprise pick thus far."

Fletcher signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2010 NFL Draft.

Fletcher is a Bozeman native and led the Big Sky in sacks in 2009.
