Bozeman is one of numerous places vying for Google's attention in hopes of being a guinea pig for the company's new ultra high-speed Internet.

Now Sarasota, Florida is entering the race, renaming Island City "Google Island."

This announcement comes less than a week after Topeka, Kansas was renamed "Google, Kansas"

Last month, Google announced plans to build and test ultra high-speed broadband networks in a number of communities across the United States.

Bozeman was the first Montana city to join the competition, though Missoula's mayor says he'd like the Garden City to be a contender.
