BOULDER - A former assistant football coach at the University of Montana is facing trespassing and theft charges for reportedly stealing a gun and a wallet at a Colorado strip club.
Tyler Gregorak, who was an assistant in Montana before following Head Coach Bobby Hauck to UNLV, was arrested last month in Boulder.
Police there say Gregorak stole the gun and wallet from the car of a bouncer who wouldn't let him into the Nitro strip club because he was too drunk. Police say he returned the items and apologized later that day.
Now, the Daily Camera website in Boulder says prosecutors are filing charges of criminal trespass and theft against Gregorak, who made his first court appearance in Boulder this afternoon.
Earlier, newspapers in Las Vegas reported UNLV had told Gregorak to resign or his contract won't be renewed at the end of this month.
