Just five firefighters remain on the scene of the Byway Fire in Wise River.
Officials are reporting the fire is 100 percent contained but not completely controlled. Officials say there are just a few hotspots crews are working on, but there are no flames.
A helicopter was able to fly the perimeter of the burn area this morning and determine the blaze consumed a total of 375 acres.
The fire began around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and spread quickly north along the perimeter of the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway. By 6 p.m., the flames were out and crews were mopping up.
Management has been turned over to the Beaverhead County due to the work being done on private property.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
