MISSOULA - Delta Airlines announced Thursday it added a new nonstop destination from Missoula to Atlanta.
For now, service will be limited to Saturdays only, but passengers can start booking both economy and first class seats as for flights that begin June 22.
Service runs this summer from June 22 through Aug. 31.
Missoula Airport Director Cris Jensen said Atlanta, besides being Delta's largest hub, has the largest airport in the country. Customers will have now access to more than 900 daily departures to more than 200 destinations.
"It has the most connecting opportunities of any market in the US. So we're excited that people will have a new and easy to travel not only domestically but around the world."
Missoula's airport also has non stop flights to Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Los Angeles, just to name a few.
