Over 300 thousand dollars will be spent on projects to improve federal land and resources in Deer Lodge, Powell and Granite Counties.
The Tri County Resource Advisory Committee is using the money to improve forests, wildlife, watersheds and roads to name a few.
The money comes from the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act.
A meeting was held this evening at the USDA Service Center in Deer Lodge to review funding for the projects.
On Thursday the Southwest Montana RAC will meet in Dillon to review funding for resource improvement projects in that area.
That meeting will be held at the Beaverhead County Search and Rescue Building.
The meetings are open to the public.
