The Montana State and University of Montana men's basketball teams learned their fate in the annual ESPN Bracketbuster competition on Monday.
The Bobcats will host future Big Sky Conference foe South Dakota on Sunday, February 24, as the Coyotes make their first ever trip to Bozeman. Tip-off is set for 1pm.
MSU and South Dakota have just one previous meeting, a 63-59 Bobcat win in 1946. MSU head coach Brad Huse says he looks forward to the match-up.
"The Bracketbuster teams we've been paired with since I've been at MSU have been teams from the west and teams that we've played as part of our regular non-conference schedule," Huse said. "But that's not the case this year and that makes this game interesting and intriguing."
The Grizzlies will hit the road for their contest, a difficult pairing with Davidson. The Wildcats have played Duke and Gonzaga close in the 2012-13 season. The Southern Conference team is 15-7, 10-1 so far this season.
Montana's game will air on ESPNU on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00pm.
