Work is expected to begin Monday on a piece of land at the Black Bull Golf Community where they're building a new pool house and fitness center.

The facility will cost of $1.3 million. The project, plus other construction and operations on the property, is creating jobs.

"We've created over 250 jobs throughout our operations and construction. Building a collegiant size pool, about 1800 square feet, modern equipment in [the fitness center]," Black Bull Director David Baucom said.

The asking price for the new homes under construction is between $500,000 and $600,000, a far cry from the million dollars homes built in the area a few years ago.
